Most people enjoy warm weather, however when it gets too hot it can quickly become unbearable for your dog. This is because they have hair, do not have sweat glands like humans (have to rely on panting alone) and often do not understand that they would be cooler if they just laid and settled down rather than wandering. The Ancol dog cooling coat has been designed to help cool your pet down during the hot weather.

The cooling coat is manufactured from polyester and cotton and is simple to use. Just put into cold water and then put on your dog, the kelvinator effect of moisture evaporating from the coat ensures that your dog’s temperature is reduced, which is vital in overheating dogs. Once the coat is dry (the coat retains moisture for hours) simply repeat the process to keep your pet healthy and comfortable in hot weather.

The cooling dog coat has a chest strap to ensure a secure, comfy fit while also increasing the area of your dog’s body that the coat is helping to cool. The coat is antibacterial and machine washable.

Extra Small: 25cm (10″) length and 50cm (20″) maximum girth

Small: 30cm (12″) length and 60cm (24″) maximum girth

Medium: 40cm (16″) length and 70cm (28″) maximum girth

Large: 50cm (20″) length and 80cm (32″) maximum girth
