One of our dog’s favourite time of the day is when we announce that it is time for “WALKIES!!!”. Sometimes your regular street or field dog walk just won’t cut it and you fancy going further afield. To do this a high quality travel harness is essential to keep your dog fully under control and secure while you drive. Please remember to always use a harness if you intend to use an extendable or retractable dog lead to avoid serious injury to your dog’s neck.

Ancol’s travel harness puts no pressure on your dogs neck, is strong and comfortable to wear and will keep your pet safe and secure while you travel. The travel harness is versatile and can still be used as a regular harness which means there is no need to be switching between harnesses. The harness allows your dog to have their full range of movement during their walk. The harness is made of strong, hard wearing nylon. The travel harness has a large padded contact area on the chest to keep your pet comfy and safe. The travel dog harness has adjustment buckles for both a secure and comfortable fit, it also allows for growth in your dog.

The travel dog harness has a reflective strips on the harness and straps to ensure your dog is visible in low light conditions and help to keep them safe.

To fit the manufacturer provides the following information. Measure your dog snugly at the deepest part of their chest and then match it to the correct size harness below. Please be aware the breed recommendations are a guideline only as individual sizes will vary by dog. Please measure to get a correct fit. The harness comes in the following sizes:

Small: 37cm – 58cm (15″ – 23″)

Medium: 42cm – 66cm (17″ – 26.5″)

Large: 55cm – 87cm (22″ – 35″)

XLarge: 68cm – 116cm (27″ – 46.5″)
