A dog lead is vital to take your pet for one of their favourite activities – “WALKIES!”. By using a lead you are protecting your dog from the risks of the environment such as busy roads; it also allows you to effectively control their behaviour. HALTI (owned by Company of Animals) is a leading brand in dog training and behaviour.
HALTI’s training lead is designed to provide both your pet and yourself with ultimate versatility, flexibility and safety on a walk. The two triggers allow for more control, steering and guidance over your pet (use with HALTI’s range of headcollars and harnesses for optimum results). The two trigger clips also provide the option to walk two dogs on the same lead without the need to purchase an additional coupler.
The three connections on the lead allow you to set three different length of lead perfect for different types of training. A short lead for heel work or normal walks, medium length for obedience and the longest length used for recall or distance work. While at it’s longest length the lead can be used around your waist for a hands free option.
The training lead is manufactured using lightweight, water resistant and highly durable making it ideal for lengthy training sessions and walks in any weather. The manufacturer has provided the following sizing of the leads:
Small: 210cm x 1.5cm (84″ x 0.6″) and is for dogs weighing up to a maximum of 20Kgs (44Ibs)
Large: 210cm x 2.5cm (84″ x 1″) and is for dogs weighing up to a maximum of 45Kgs (99Ibs)
