The comb has been manufactured using strong, durable plastic. The comb also has two sides of teeth; one close together and the other slightly further apart making it ideal for all dog coats.

The manufacturer recommends the following instructions for use:

– Use a brush or comb to thoroughly groom your pet before using the flea comb.

– Position a large white sheet of paper under your pet to catch fleas and eggs, which you must then destroy.

– Use the comb systematically to fully cover your pet’s coat. Fleas tend to favour areas with thicker fur. If you spot fleas in your pet’s teeth use either insecticide or soapy water to drown them.

– Use this comb daily during the flea season
